Program Fees:
  • Computer courses are $75 per class
  • Self Esteem and Workplace Readiness Workshops are $25 per class
  • Parenting Education Seminar for Divorcing Parents $40 per class

Cost includes the cost of books and supplies. Tuition is due and payable no later than the first day of class.
No exceptions! Cash or money orders are acceptable.

Course Descriptions:


Intro to Computers
Explores the basic skills needed to use a computer including understanding the equipment, moving around within the programs, opening and saving documents, and much more.

Intro to the Internet
Introduces the basics in navigating the World Wide Web including using search engines and hyperlinks. Participants will also set up their own free email account and learn how to send/receive email.
Beginning Microsoft Word
Offers the basics in word processing including creating letters, formatting text, and editing documents.

Intermediate Microsoft Word
Includes some of Word’s advanced features including advanced editing tools, working with columns and tables, and utilizing mail merge.

Beginning Microsoft Excel
Offers the basics in working with spreadsheets including how to create, edit and format spreadsheets, formulas and charts.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel
Covers Excel’s advanced features including working with databases, linking worksheets and workbooks, using advanced filters and running macros.

Beginning Microsoft PowerPoint
Teaches participants to create a computer-generated slide show presentation from start to finish. Participants will create slides that include graphics, charts, transitions and timings.

Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
Includes PowerPoint’s advanced features such as inserting spreadsheets and tables into slides, adding animation or sound effects and using presentation techniques.
